Web Tool Smackdown #2
I chose the Learning Anatomy app because it is free to use, so anyone can start learning right away without worrying about cost. It provides an interactive 3D model that makes it easier to understand complex ideas by seeing them in three dimensions. Covering all the body’s systems, users can explore how each system functions and it is useful for visual learning, which is great for people who learn best by seeing rather than just reading. The information is accurate and trustworthy, with quiz options to test your knowledge and keep up with learning. This tool is perfect for anatomy courses here at Stockton, providing detailed content that supports what we learn in class. It’s a great study tool for exams, helping me review important terms before tests. Using it often will improve my memory, making it easier to remember information for exams.
Anatomy Learning is very helpful for physical therapists to explain their patients anatomy in a clear and easy way. It’s great for teaching others in a classroom or in clinics by providing accurate and engaging content. Using it in my future will help me stay up to date with my knowledge of anatomy and continuing to teach myself how the body works.

I have never seen a tool like this, but I imagine to be closer to as helpful as learning hands on with an actual model in-person. I wonder if it would be helpful for artists practicing anatomy as well?
